• 1 Pair of gloves (optional – to protect hands while hanging decorations)
• 1 Ladder or step stool (optional – for reaching higher branches)

Supplies

• 6 Edible garlands crafted with popcorn, cranberries, and peanuts.
• 5 Pinecone ornaments coated in peanut butter and birdseed.
• 1 Bunch Dried citrus slices threaded with twine.
• 5 Bundles Twigs and herbs tied with twine for visual and aromatic appeal.
• Handful Loose birdseed to scatter as an additional offering.

Instructions

Step 1: Select a Yule Tree

• Venture into a local forest, park, or natural area. Seek out a tree that stands strong and inviting—this will serve as your natural Yule Tree.
• Take a moment to connect with the space, offering a silent greeting or blessing to the spirits of the land.

Step 2: Prepare the Tree

• Clear the base of the tree if it’s covered in snow, allowing the area to become a sacred space for your ritual.
• Scatter a small handful of birdseed at the tree’s base as a preliminary offering, inviting wildlife to partake in the bounty.
