Ritual: Moon Water: Using Your Windowsill to Harness Lunar Energy
While the traditional method of placing a bowl of water outside to absorb the moon's energy is ideal, it may not always be practical. However, if you cannot leavethe water outside, there is an alternative method that can still harness the energy of the moon - using your windowsill.

A FewdropsEssential Oil
1PinchSalt
Instructions
To begin, find a clean and clear container that is suitable for holding water. Glass or ceramic containers are ideal as they are non-toxic and do not contain any chemicals that could leach into the water. Fill the container with fresh water, ideally from a natural source such as a stream or a well.

Next, find a windowsill that is directly facing the full moon. If your windows do not face the direction of the moon, you can place the container on a table or other flat surface that is as close to the window as possible. The closer the container is to the window, the more direct exposure it will have to the moon's energy.
Once you have found a suitable spot for the container, place it on the windowsill and allow it to absorb the moon's energy for several hours. Ideally, the water should be left on the windowsill from sunset to sunrise, but even a few hours of exposure to the moon's rays can be beneficial.
While the water is absorbing the moon's energy, it is important to set your intention for what you want the water to be used for. Whether you want to use the water for ritual purification, cleansing, or healing, be clear and specific about your intention. You can speak your intention out loud or simply hold it in your mind.
